You support bold attributes for local variables. How about
distinctive colouring for local/member/global variables?

You should preferably make them configurable so the user can
choose between colour, italic, bold, underline.

Over the years, we have tried several extensions to coloring. One such extension was to color by scope. Unfortunately, we were instantly inundated with colors and couldn't remember their meanings. For example, light green, medium green and dark green for variables of different scope; light brown, med brown and dark brown for methods of different scope. This is when we introduced attributes to complement color.

Nonetheless, we are always considering changes and will reconsider your suggestion.
