I'm typing a letter and see an appropriate word in a suggestion listbox. The word is the first item in the listbox. Then I want to paste it and I quickly press ArrowDown and Enter. Unexpectedly I see a different word pasted. Indeed another item was chosen when I pressed ArrowDown.
Which IDE and version of VA are you using? I have seen this effect myself, but not in C++. The current / selected item in the listbox does not change, but it is not visible. You can tell this from the tooltips on the two screen shots, the item mane does not change.

For now you could try making the suggestion listbox taller if this happens a lot, as explained here:
Yes, 'listen' is simply invisible, I meant the visual effect. I'm using VS 2005 and VA 1734. Thanks for your suggestion. Fortunately, the effect happens not very often.
