Find by Context

Find next and previous references to a symbol by context. Avoid finding similarly named symbols of a different context. Avoid the time wasted trying to determine if a similarly named symbol needs attention.

Place the caret or select any symbol and press Find Next by Context in the Visual Assist X toolbar. Your caret moves to the next reference of the symbol within the current file.



Find Previous by Context moves to the previous reference.

Miscellaneous

Find by context does not work across files. Use Find References instead.

Place your caret on a symbol before finding.

Find by context works only for the current symbol. You cannot find references to a symbol by entering a name into a dialog.
