Move Scope

Move efficiently within methods and files using commands to move from one scope to another. When the text caret is within lines enclosed by braces or parentheses, move to the beginning—or ending—of the next outer brace or parenthesis.

After you reach global scope in a file, move occurs from one method to the next.

Access

The most efficient access is via default shortcuts to move to the next (Alt+Down-Arrow) and previous (Alt+Up-Arrow) scopes.

You can also move scope using the tiny arrows to the right of the Context field.
